About the Journal

Journal of Tourism Economics and Policy (abbreviated as JTEP)  p-ISSN 2775-2283  and e-ISSN 2807-2839 is a multidisciplinary journal covering all aspects of the environmental impacts of tourism, socio-economic development and public policy. The Journal of Tourism Economics and Policy has published four issues per year and published in (April – June, July – September, October – December, January – March). Journal of Tourism Economics and Policy also uses the LOCKSS system to ensure a secure and permanent archive for the journal. Journal of Tourism Economics and Policy (abbreviated as JTEP) is a accredited in SINTA (Science and Technology Index) at GRADE 4 (SINTA 4) by the Ministry of Research and Technology of Republic of Indonesia Decree 152/E/KPT/2023 valid from Volume 1 Nomor 1 (2021) to Volume 5 No 4 (2025). Concerned with the complex interactions between development in tourism, the economy and public policy, including in terms of sustainability and the environment, the aim is to find ways to achieve sustainability in all human activities aimed at such development. Coverage includes interactions among society, development, and environment, and their implications for sustainable development; Micro and Macro Economics, Economic Planning, Economic Control, Trade, Public Policy, Islamic Economics, Economic Circular, and much more.
