Threats and Challenges of The Accounting Profession Facing the Digital Revolution in the Society Era 5.0

The domination of robotic and artificial intelligence in society era 5.0 has become inevitable; the digitalization era has come. It disrupts all sectors and professions. The accounting profession is one sector that will get the impact of the digital revolution. This phenomenon forces humans to change and adapt to the technological era. Although, in general, it brings progress in human life, on the other hand, it brings challenges and threats to the accounting profession. Therefore accountants should upgrade their ability and have more value. The strategy that can be used is being a certified accountant, keeping the purpose orientation as an accountant, time management up to date, and using software to maximize the work. This research aims to discover the challenges and threats to the accounting profession in the digital revolution era 5.0. Moreover, in facing the challenges of society era 5.0, accountants need to do the following five steps: Invest in developing digital skills, implement new technology prototypes while learning by doing, education based on international certification, be responsive to the change in the industry, business, and technology development, curriculum and learning based on human-digital skill (for an educational institution). This research is descriptive research with a literature method. The conclusion is taken based on the expert opinion.

AI-Driven Growth in Marketing, Gaming, and Education Sectors: Key Insights From Indonesia

This study examines the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in driving growth across Indonesia’s top sectors: marketing, gaming, and education. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive research method, it draws insights from reputable sources such as Google's "e-Conomy SEA 2024" report and analyzes secondary data from another research. The findings show that AI has become central to business strategies in these industries, enabling enhanced personalization, automation, and improved customer experiences. In marketing, AI facilitates personalization, automation, and optimized campaigns. In gaming, it improves non-playable character (NPC) behavior, content generation, and multiplayer fairness. AI enhances learning outcomes for education with significant improvements in personalized learning, teaching automation, and equity. By focusing on AI's applications and benefits, this research offers practical recommendations for businesses to stay competitive and innovate. Additionally, it identifies avenues for future research into AI's evolving impact on Indonesia's e-conomy and industries.

Digitalization of Education: Development of Pancasila Word Guessing Applications for the Young Generation in the Society 5.0 Era

The Society 5.0 era encourages the integration of digital technology in various aspects of life, including education, to equip the younger generation with a deep understanding of the term nationality. This research aims to develop the Guess the Word Pancasila application, a digital game-based learning media designed to be able to introduce and strengthen state terms rooted in Pancasila, such as cooperation, government, precepts, unity and unity, sovereignty, justice, and tolerance and others. The main problem raised is the lack of attractiveness of conventional learning methods in instilling state terms in students that must be understood in today's era. The research uses research and development (R&D) methods with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. Data collected through observations, questionnaires, and interviews with students and teachers. The results of the study show that this application can increase students' enthusiasm for learning state terms. By using game elements, such as the introduction of words through challenges and awards, students more easily understand and appreciate the concepts of statehood contained in Pancasila learning. This study concludes that the need for gamification-based education digitalization in the youth is an innovative way to be able to instill national values in the younger generation in an interactive and fun way.

Digitalization of Islamic Boarding Schools in Forming Santri Mental Accounting

The industrial revolution 4.0 is the internet of think (IoT) not only has an impact in the business world but has an impact on all elements of people's lives. The development of digital technology is also one of the things that should be utilized in supporting economic and learning activities in Islamic boarding schools. Kyai Syarifuddin Islamic Boarding School utilizes digital technology by issuing a digital payment card called the E-Sharif card. In the use of digital money, mental accounting is needed so that finances can be managed properly. The purpose of this research is to analyze how digitalization of pesantren can shape the accounting mentality of students. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods to describe digitalization in Islamic boarding schools. The results of this study show that by using the E-Syarif card, students' mental accounting can be formed. With the E-Syarif card, students and guardians feel safe from the risk of losing money.
